For years, Al Hoda has served Sidon’s families and businesses through its bakery, retail shop and daily bread production. Our commitment remains the same: to keep bread available for our community.
Through the hardest days
According to the family account, the bakery faced difficulty securing flour and fuel during periods of economic crisis and shortage. Its decision was to continue production and keep regulated bread available at the official price despite higher input costs. Local reporting in 2021 also described Abu Hashem (Al Hoda) as working day and night to secure bread.
